Georgiana grew up between the bustling streets of Portobello Market in London and the magical wilderness of Somerset in the British countryside.

Always on the journey of wonder, she found herself at 18 years old in Kolkata, India after leaving school, volunteering at Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity at the women’s hospices named Prem Dan and Kalighat. And this was Georgiana's initiation into women's work. There she learned that kindness, positivity and play brings people together. There was no going back from this experience.

Ever since this transformative awakening, Georgiana has been devoted to exploring spirituality, women’s health, parenthood, holistic living and the importance of the family unit. Moving beyond fear has always been important to her, which has led her to prioritising a lot of challenging spiritual work and completing the Accelerated Freefall Skydiving program.

As an Architectural Interior Designer working around the world for 5 years in her 20’s, it became evident she needed to go back to working with people on the life/death axis, as that is where her heart was.

In 2008, she was blessed with a cousin who was later diagnosed with special needs, the legendary JJ. Georgiana was JJ’s primary carer from age 4-7 years old, supporting her as she learned to speak in her own time. She was in charge of coordinating all of JJ’s care, speech therapy, OT, PT, overseeing her IEP each year and working closely with an Educational Advocate and Developmental Pediatrician to ensure JJ’s progress was supported by the right structure and that her confidence was preserved. Because of the intense time they spent together, they developed an unbreakable mother/daughter bond that remains unconditional and strong to this day.

Georgiana worked as a professional Doula for 8 years in Los Angeles CA, with a focus on postpartum nutrition and holistic care. She has helped to raise over 100 babies. She’s now Director of Culinary Operations at a retreat center in Bozeman, Montana that welcomes home the Special Operations Community.

She has lived in London England, Kolkata India, Phuket Thailand, Bali Indonesia, Los Angeles CA and now finds herself in Bozeman Montana.

Voyage LA Interview

I am working for my favourite artist, the female body. I love seeing a woman with her creation, so proud and at her edge. I think pregnant women and mothers are beautiful. I think childbirth is so cool. I have the capacity to be there for the enormous fluctuations of emotion that comes after giving birth, which is its own sort of savage art…

Client Love

  • We hired Georgiana twice to be our postpartum doula after each of our two babies were born. She has a very nurturing and calm disposition that is so very essential for me, the mother. She would cook amazingly nourishing Ayurvedic meals and hot teas/drinks, and kept me feeling so warm and cradled in that very vulnerable time after giving birth. Georgiana was also the kind of sweet, kind, caring soul you would want caring for your newborn babies. I felt so blessed to have her in our and our children’s lives in those precious early moments/months. I highly recommend her!

  • Georgi is amazing! We hired her to take care of my fiancé after we had our baby via c-section. She cooked for us every day for months, made special bonds with our older offspring and was generally a fun, happy presence to be around. Once we figured out she can handle a crowd we started hiring her to cater all our parties, about 50 people. She spoiled us rotten and impressed our guests who all wanted to hire her, they were disappointed she was on her way to Montana. We took her on our travels many time where she shared a room with our baby and took good care of her so my fiancé was able to relax. If she was still in LA she’d still be with us. We give her all the stars.
